"Marvelous" Marvin Sonsona and Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. are going to battle in a match putting their unblemished records in the line. These two undefeated pugilists are going to square off for the WBO Super Bantamweight title at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Puerto Rico on February 27, 2010.
It could be a victory for both fighters whoever wins the fight. Sonsona is aiming to become the youngest Filipino fighter (age 19) to become a two-division champion. His first title was at Super Flyweight when he defeated another Puerto Rican Jose "Carita" Lopez.
Vazquez is also aiming for a record. He is the son of former world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Sr and if he wins the championship belt, they will become the first father and son dou who became champions in boxing.
It will be a great fight as the rivalry between the Philippines and Puerto Rico is heating up after the Pacquiao - Cotto matchup last year. Live streaming video and play by play links will be diplayed in this site during the fight night.
